I live in Northeast Indiana where I have spent most of my life. At 13 I bought my first bow at a garage sale from there I was hooked. Unlike alot of hunters I did not grow up in a family of hunters. I was drawn to the outdoors and hunting because I was just fasinated with it. My early on teachers in life were the tv host of various hunting shows. From this I grew a passion for deer hunting. I have taken several nice deer over the years but stepped it up a couple years ago when I began managing and hunting for only trophy whitetails. I have 4 wonderful children that I cannot wait to share my passion for the outdoors with. With DeerSpace I am also able to share with other members too. Starting this year I will be filming all of my hunts good and bad to share with all of you. I am glad to be here and look forward to the many friendships and stories we will all share.

Not much of the reading type, although I do enjoy reading just about any hunting magazine. A great read is by our member Don_Higgins who is a very accomplished writer in the hunting world. His book "Hunting Trophy Whitetails In The Real" is a great book to read with alot of great hunting information and tips for the everyday hunter.

Just about anything outdoors and down to earth people.
