I enjoy both fishing and hunting and am interested in meeting fellow fishers and hunters to share in these two great activities. I'm interested in hearing from guide services about hunting excursions here in the northeast with special interest in waterfowl or black bear hunts. Also interested in locating shooting ranges and archery clubs for perhaps a little competative shooting in Vermont.
My all-time favorite hunting quarry are ducks and geese, but locating a decent hunting area has been tough lately. I also enjoy varmit hunting (day or night). Turkey season proved fruitless this year as the turkeys stayed largely on posted land. Of course whitetail hunting is on the table.
2010: There are a number of things that I am planning for 2010. Top on that list is getting a new bow and putting more time on the practice target. Would also like to pick up a few trail-cams, a camera for my bow, new arrows, etc.
I submitted an application for a 2010 Moose Permit but won't know until July how that goes. Looking to get into my first Spring Turkey hunt as well this year, and possibly booking a hunt for some waterfowl hunting in the Fall. Other goals I have for this year are locating a good small game hunting area, and perhaps a decent group of fields for goose hunting. Here on the mountain such areas are pretty scarce.
Things I Like
God, my son, my parents, my bros and sistas. Fishing, archery, hunting, snowboarding, politics, Earth, the heavens, and most everything in its domain..with a few exceptions.
thats great. i'm glad that up got it. i know how i felt when i bought my new bow. I had it for 0ne year and i'm still in love with it ike the day i bought it.
Yep, I picked it (Mathew's Reezen 7.0) up last Friday. I've only slung about 70 arrows through it so far, and I'm still getting use to that 80% let-off. (My previous bow only had about a 10% left-off.) Shoots really nice.
