I am the luckiest guy in the world ! I have the most beautiful young lady in my life. I always wanted a girlfriend or wife (Judy i love you) to share this passion i have for the outdoors with, and now i do. How did i get so lucky ? I left it all up to God. I own 22 acres in Alpena MI and am now building a rustic style cabin,(Bear Camp)a cabin with no electrical. No electrical because i am 6/10's of a mile and/or $14,000.00 away from the power. I am now done with my rock star trucking job and back in MI with a sorta local job. I know, how does one just give up traveling with rock stars?, a beautiful woman at home and a love for life. 5 1/2 years of traveling has been good to me, but i am ready for a normal life.
Things I Like
I guess i needed one of those catchy DeerSpace names, so i changed my profile name from my real name Tony Floria to Mountain Man, a name a friend gave me. I love to be outdoors in the woods as well as on a beach. I like spending time at Bear Camp (My property's name) and just sit around with Judy by the fire pit. It is so quite with no ambient light which means you can see billions of stars. It is just a great place to relax and enjoy life. We moved up to Northern MI 05/2012 and love it. The air is so clean and the people are so friendly, and less than 1% crime. Aww just like the good ol'e days !
PSS: FB and politics can be a very "bad" combination,, WOW,, especially in these times, so anyway,,, glad everything is "fantastic" in the north,,, east still sucks,, lol!!!!

Well if you put a propane heater in thee building for 10 - 15 minutes before you go in, it's pretty warm. You want to dry off good and get dressed and not waste any time getting back to the cabin which is about 150'. So how is CA this time of year ?
Haha! That works! We're having a cold snap, I'm in the northern part of the state, black ice tonight!!
