I bought the Texas hog hunt at our WTU banquet Saturday night.  What I need to know is if there is a better time of year to go.  I know I do not want to be there in July or August because of the heat.  What I don't know is if there is a time of year when they are more active.  I want to increase my odds of bringing one or two hogs home.

A statewide hearing on all the proposed rules will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, March 4 at the wildlife division's District One Office, located at 1500 Dublin Road in Columbus. I have been around a few years and one thing that I found to be very true is that old saying that "THE FAMILY THAT PRAYES TOGETHER STAYS TOGETHER" and I thought to myself that if that happened there would be alot less stress in people and in there lives. My motto is if you take a kid fishing or hunting you never have to go fising or hunting for them in the streets. Thats just my opinion
