A fine end to my season

This past weekend closed out our muzzleloader season and for me it was a memorable weekend. It started Friday evening after our company Christmas party. My son and I went out to our cabin to spend the night and hunt all weekend. I had hunted earlier that afternoon with John Jones (Cedarcreek) with no luck, but we still had fun. Making better pictures!

Okay, so I have went through and looked at just about every picture of dead game taken and I must say that a picture of someone standing next to the bed of a pickup with 3-4 deer laying all bloody and gut open have got to be the worst pictures ever. ME AND NOLUCKBUCKHUNTER WENT TO CHECK OUT THE SOUTHSIDE DAIRY FARM, DID NOT HAVE TO DO MUCH WALKING AS WE PUSHED THE WOODS WHEN I SPOTTED A DOE JUST INSIDE THE WOODS ON THE EDGE OF A SOYBEAN FIELD, OF COURSE I SHOT AND A HIT AND ALONG WITH ANOTHER LARGE DOE RUNNING RIGHT FOR US , COULD NOT GET A SHOT ON HER, THIS WAS THE FASTEST UNPLANNED HUNT EVER WENT TO SCOUT IT OUT, AND 10 MINUTES LATER BLAM ONE LESS CROP DAMAGE TAG, AND FOOD FOR A LESS FORTUNATE FAMILY..
