Passing on the passion

I took my grandson to the rifle range today to start getting a feel for my H&R 44mag. Man does he ever have a feel for it. But the best part is seeing the smile on his face and the joy in my heart from hearing that he really had fun time. Plus, he is fired-up for this fall as he gets to hunt in the special youth hunt here in Indiana. He has also mentioned that he mite like to learn how to shoot a bow. The passion is starting to burn in another future hunter/outdoorsmans heart. I love it. He told me today on the drive home that when I get old and grandma won't let me drive any more, he will take me hunting. I love that young man. So, if you don't have children of your own yet, take that little guy/girl next door ar from church out and start the fire in their heart and feel that joyfull feeling when you get that hug saying thanks, your the best.Maybee, just maybee, when your sitting on the porch wishing for just one more day in the woods they'll pull up and say remember when, lets go.
