I know everyone is gearing up for spring turkey hunting, but I am still in ice fishing mode. So for those who chase those gills, crappie and perch and end up drilling thirty or more holes doing so I have what you need. There is a new commer to the powered ice auger market. This is an electirc auger that will cutt up to 5" a second, no joke. It's call the "Ice Gator" This has a 24volt very ruged and powerful electric motor. I can drill 100 holes in 1foot of ice an a single charge. You will never have a trip ruined because you cn't get your gas auger started; never get gas over you hands, never have gas leak in the bed of your truck. You just push the button and it cuts as many holes as you need.
