Worse, and in ways that you'd never guess. Sure we are on the verge of a financial depression, but America has weathered many of those. We have never suffered hyperinflation before, but we are on the verge of that too. The fed has pushed so much currency into the economy that dollars are like grains of sand, and about as valuable. What will you do when gasoline is 1000 currency dollars a gallon, and a can of soup is 100 currency dollars overnight? More an more decisions that normally an adult could make are now reserved to the state. Your diet, exercise, and how long you live will soon be decided be decided by the federal government. Millions of people are coming to America to make it there own. They have no reason to assimilate. They do not share our love of hunting and fishing. They are here to compete for your job, the education that you would get, your family, your home, and your future. Do you remember going down to the hardware store to buy a rifle, shotgun, or pistol. No forms, no waiting period, just buy a firearm and take it home. I remember. But millions have never known that freedom. They think registration, inconvenience, and waiting periods are the norm. Remember when the various goverments couldn't listen in on your communications? That was before "Carnivore", "Perfect Citizen" and "Triggerfish". The business of government is control. Getting worse? Faster than you know. Paladin

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercise, I advise the gun . . . it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." Thomas Jefferson, 1785
"Ideas are more dangerous than guns. If we would not let them have a gun, why would we let them have an idea?" Joseph Stalin
