i took a look.... very interesting !!!
first let me say, if I can ever afford, and find the time to book a trip.. your place is on the top of my list! I bookmarked your website for my future use...
you did ask for ideas and criticisims... so here mine are...
i did notice that the scroll bar (on the right) was to big... as you scroll down, the information on the page ends, but you can still scroll down... in my opinion it gives the perception of an "unfinished page"...
maybe put pictures in the unused space? the "notes from the pen" page is a good example of what i mean... (not to say that the other pages are not good) rather as a consumer I would rather not see a large informational page that has great information on it just seeming "crammed" at the top and blank the rest of the way down.
one thing that i have never seen while looking at a ranch such as yours is a pictorial version of the pricing page... some guys would never know, visually, the difference of a 150 class buck to a 170 class... that could set you apart, and maybe even help turn a web surfer to a client... (esp if the animals pictured are actual animals at your place)
I also think there should be some pic's of the lodging/dining facilities...
also one thing that would be beneficial would have a hyperlink inserted to the online texas licensing department, in the general hunting info page.
as well as giving your taxidermist his due by either hyperlinking to his own page or photos on the statement "there are several examples in the main house"... (i say this cause my uncle will do all the taxidermy for free for me, but I wouldn't want to pay for it, cause his mouth work makes all the deer he does look like cartoons...)
one last thing you indicate the term "trophy deer hunt" in regards to companions staying free and able to harvest a doe free... What defines a trophy deer hunter? 129+ or 160/170 or 180???
again, great page! and these comments are simply my personal opinion and observations.... I especially like the deer management information that you provide as well. picture #22 in the breeding section is my favorite...
