G5 Montec by far my favorite.  they also have the same blade in a practice style.  I love these broadheads!!!!

I use Rage 2 blade and also carry Fuse which I haven't used yet. Additionally, I carry "Bludgeon" tips in case I get bored and want to shoot a coon, squirrel, crow or get rid of a bear.

I used G5 montecs this year and shot a 10 point whitetail.  I was not impressed with the blood trail.  I double lunged it but missed the heart.  The deer ran about 250 yards zig zagging before dropping.  The blood trail was almost non-existant.  The blades should have been sharp as I had not shot them even into a target. (I tuned using the target practice version). 

I have heard too many horror stories with mechanicals.  I don't think I can trust them.  I want a clean quick kill so at this point I am not sure if I will stay with the montecs or find another fixed blade to shoot.

Sorry to hear that !!! I was always scared to try Mec... i was a Muzzy man with the muzzy moments- but I did switch to Rage 100g. 2 blade!!! Love it!!! Huge wound channels and awesome blood trail if you need it lol...good luck!

the 2-bladed rages are amazing they make up for some poor shots and make tracking very easy. my blade of choice used to use 4-bladed muzzy these rages much better 2 inche hole nice.

im gonna go with rage 2 to start with my first bow.
