I have been growing plots for a few years now & would like to find something that is a very high attractant & or will be flourishing around november ( in IL. ). Any suggestions would be great!

One item that is out there, but i personally have not tried , is the Whitetail Institutes Winter Greens. This is a Brassica and they say it gets sweeter with a hard frost.

I am going to put out a couple of small plots this year for the first time.  I have been doing a lot of research on the subject and I think that I will be putting out some clover this spring to get them coming in during the summer and I will be putting in several smaller spots with purple top turnips, brassicas, and some sort of oats, probably Buck Forage Oats.  The last three are supposed to be best after the first hard frost.  By Nov. in IL, that shouldn't be a problem and they should be hitting this food source.
