what method do you use to check or test the wind while hunting ?

i use a small puffer bottle with powder [ baking soda ]

in my area of sw. michigan i use milk weed seeds the plant gets pod on it in the fall inside the pods are fuzzy seeds break open the pod &pull out the seeds they kinda look like dandolions after they flower the white fuzzy stuff one pod contains hundreds of seeds try to brush off the seeds from the hair put the hairsin a small container (mini m&M container works great) whenyou need to know the wind just pull out a couple of the hiars and let them go they float great but try to make sure the seed is off the hairs or it pulls it down faster without the seed on it i've watched the hairs float for 50 to75 yrd.away and there FREE!!!!!!!

I  use the widicater you buy at Walmart and refill it with baking soda. I also have about an 8 inch piece of sewing thread tied to the end of my bow stabilizer.

i use a windicator and during deer season i watch the weather so much you would think that i am a weather man

I use milk weed seeds also they work great.  

I have dental floss tied to my bow or baking soda out of a bottle.

who checks the wind just hunt

I use tread or Just feel the wind on my face.

Same here...i use milkweed seeds. you can watch the seeds for a long distance and see exactly how the wind is moving through the woods.
