I have noticed that in areas that I hunt as soon as people(week end warriors) start leaving scent the Deer  totally vacate and pattern hunters. I have had great success hunting on week days like Thursday or Wednesday closer to heavy cover. If there are to many hunters Deer are going Nocturnal and I just find another place to hunt. How are you adapting?

That is why scent control is so important. The deer live in those areas all year long. Any amount of unfamilliar scent or even alot of noises eventually are going to change  deer patterns.

it is the same here in pa you get the weekend warriors that go out to just shot anything and it just mess us up that actually spend alot of time out in the woods that is why i go in the woods as scent free as i can and try not to spook any deer or any other types of animals deer know when something is going on from the first shot in gun season to the first arrow being released they are a smart animal

I have found that alot of deer here in PA are infact nocturnal...   weekend warriors are a huge issue.  guys go out tromping around pushing any animal that moves...

scent control is a big factor, but on the otherhand I have personally taken 3 bucks with a lit  cigarette in my hand....

i think movement is key (I hunt more urban areas) versus scent...

I have best results weekdays versus friday and saturday...
Average "joe" huntin the keystone State...
