if your talking state's i would hunt turkey's in sc,ga,al, those state's are great you can get alot of turkey's . other state's only allow 2 turkey's except indiana your allowed to kill 1 turkey in the spring and 1 either sex in the fall .

I heard Oklahoma isn't the only state where three subspecies of turkeys canbe collected; but it may be the best.Turkey limits,license and logistics


can get in the way  of trying to take all three different toms subspecies in three days hunting isnt a piece of ake, exspecially for a non-residents, and particulary outside of Oklahoma..

Bird population, I would put Upstate NY right near the top of the list.  It is one of the most populated turkey states, and has the Eastern, which is "debated" as the hardest of the species to hunt.


 


 


I have taken many birds, and the smallest bearded bird I have taken was 8 inches (my very first bird).
