Hey Shirby, just wondering what you saw or got at the ladies hunt at DA? Did anyone shot any of those big ones that John has on camera?
Hey there, how are you? Those big bucks was laying low,lol the weather made a big change while we were there, it turn cold and rained everyday with wind from all directions,lol So not much happened for us but we had a great time , all the ladies were a lot of fun. Have you had any luck yet?
I am doing great. Sorry to hear about the weather for the ladies hunt. You don't always need to kill a deer to have a great time if your hunting with great people. John has some great bucks there, it's only going to get better. I haven't seen a horn yet, just does and fawns. The weather is changing, leaves are falling and the corn and soybeans are coming off. We are very close to pre rut here in Wisconsin so I am very excited. We have a gun youth season this weekend and a 4 day doe only gun season next weekend, that usually screws up the bowhunters for a little while.
I am very excited to be apart of the TBW family this year. I love talking with Rich, he really makes me laugh. I just wish I had the money to go to the TBW hunt at DA next month. Are you going? I don't think you would even need to bring your gun to have the time of your life with that clan. I am hoping next year I can make it.

I hear you, good company always makes for a great trip even if you don't kill nothing. I don't know yet if I'm making the TBW challenge hunt, like you I want to bad but it is 16 hours of driving for me, it just wears me out after being in a stand all day for four days,lol I will make my decision soon though. I sure hope to meet you on one of these TBW hunts soon, I have been hunting sense I got home, seen some does and fawns and yesterday I had a big spike under me for an hour, he gave me several perfect shots but I just hate to shoot a spike, I would just soon shoot a doe but let me tell you if he keeps coming to my stand I'm afraid he will catch me at a weaki moment,lol Have a good weekend my friend, so nice chatting with you.
