i had a blast at the expo ! it was a great experience and i finally got to meet some of the great deerspace members. thanks to all of you who came out to see us. i made a bunch of new friend and some very good memories. words cant describe the fellowship and fun we had. we truly have a unique space to share with everyone and i even got my wife to become a member!(juliefish76). if you never have been to one of these events, you should go! there is something for everyone. i even ordered some awsome furniture from damar! if you havent seen it you need to. but ill warn you the pictures DO not do it justice. you have to try them out like some of us did. we even spotted a 6 pointer in the rocker (chad) ha ha. all in all it was a great time and hope to see more of you.
I love the rifle carrier tied to the outside frame on the left side of the plane, most evident in the last picture.

Duct Tape ? Never Leave Home Without It!
recently i've read a couple of articles about the "pay it forward" kindness from people around the states. i think this concept was a great idea. its nice to see people helping people in their time of need. with the economy and loss of jobs, the Acts of Random Kindness, may it be big or small, it's always appreciated. i guess my point is with the recent record cold weather help someone out young or old. dont pass them by if they need help, lend a hand. pull over to see if they need help, remove snow, etc. a little kindness goes a long way.
> GOD Is Busy > If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!! ! > > > A United States Marine was attending some college > courses between assignments. He had completed missions > in Iraq and Afghanistan .. One of the courses had a professor > who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU. > > > One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. > He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, GOD if you are real > then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly > 15 min.' The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. > Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, 'Here I am > GOD, I'm still waiting.' > > > It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got > out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; > knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. > The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. > > The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there > looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, > noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'What > in the world is the matter with you? 'Why did you do that?' > > > The Marine calmly replied, 'GOD was too busy today protecting > America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid > stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me..' > > > The classroom erupted in cheers! > Got this in an e-mail today, wanted to share with ya'll. i think its great !! remeber he works in mysterious ways!!
for those of you who might be wondering what states honor your states personal pertection pistol permit there is an answer. recently a friend of mine whom i work with ran into this problem when he was carring(legally in indiana) his pistol and got pulled over in ohio. luckily for him the officer wasnt nasty about the situation. the ohio state trooper explained to him specificly how to transport without an ohio permit. it could have been a bad situation quickly, but my hats off to an understanding female state trooper. i wouldnt want to be in their shoes at times! so anyways, on my listings is a link to a site that will tell you what states honor each others permits. i will admit i have always wondered, but carried anyways. its an easy site to navigate around in. simply point and click your state. thought this would be good information to all that carry a pistol legally. remember if you do get pulled over to tell the officer you are carrying. its makes it easier on both ends. thanks, chris
if you havent heard allready our administrator hasnt picked out a suitable screen name for himself. so some of us have started a little contest to help him out. so far there are some pretty interesting name choices. i would like to invite all members to put in their two cents. please check it out in forums under introductions. so far there is a free deerspace shooting shirt for the winner. so click on administrators profile and check him out, help us find a good name for him. be safe and happy holidays to you and your family. thanks, chris
well ive been shooying my trusty PSE for about fifteen years now and it has killed deer every year for me. with the way technology has changed the archery industry i think its time that i upgrade for next year. so i have talked about a few bows with some of the members all ready, im asking all of you to give me some suggestions or thoughts for my choice. ill take all good and bad from any make. i think the best field testing feedback will come from you. i dont shoot an overdraw, i do shoot carbon arrows. so if you can give any suggestions, i would greatly appreciate them. oh yeah, this is for hunting only, not competition. thanks chris
wow big changes in the activity points! i think this will make it easier to grow your racks. i give it a big thumbs up!
