1. This contest is open to free range whitetail deer only. (we will have a seperate contest for other hunts)

2. You may use any weapon that is legal for the area you are hunting.

3. This contest will run from Sep. 1st through Feb. 14 - all photos must be put up for scoring by 12 p.m. on Feb 19, 2010. Teams will consist of 3 members each.

4. Once you harvest a deer, you will have 5 days to post a pic (a subcategory has been created in the photos area for the contest - 2009 Hunting Contest) of you AND the deer, or it will be disqualified from the contest. Once a deer is entered, it will be counted; no culling of deer in the contest. Picture must be posted and a message sent to Aaron.

5. You will be allowed to enter 1 buck and 2 does. Bucks will be worth 5 points, plus 1 point for each point he has that measures over 1 inch. Does will be worth 5 points each.

6. After entering a deer, you need to pm me (Aaron) with the info, let me know what you entered that day, when it was taken and what your personal season total should be.

7. In the event of a tie, the team with the most number of deer entered will be crowned winners! In the event that this does not satisfy the tie breaker we will use the highest rated photos per team in the "2009 Hunting Contest" category in the pictures area on DeerSpace to determine the winners.

Bonus - All photos will be voted on during the course of the season. Sometime after the season and the regular teams have finished and the winning team announced there will be an additional winner announced. This winner will be the one with the most votes with the highest rating. Before we launch this contest we will announce a prize to be awarded to this special hunter.

Please keep in mind your pics on this contest will be viewed by thousands of visitors; try and get the best quality pic you can. Pics from the inside of a truck bed are not the most desirable thing to look at. Try to capture pictures that will put us in your hunt.
