Wow. That is amazing. I didn't know if there were "across state lines" or "neighboring state" competitions or not. I have hunted for over 15 years, and this is the first time I have been immersed in this kind of thing (the trophy part and being invited places because of it). So I am new to this side of it all.

Each state has it's on Trophy Deer Contest and Board of Honor (Previous Years Winners), but the buck has to be killed in the respective state to be part of the contest.
For example Illinois was just last weekend and there was over 450 deer entered in the contest.
