This past Christmas, I got a Nikon ProStaff 3-9 x 40 BDC scope. This scope was to replace the Bushnell piece of crap scope mounted on my Savage 270. I did not have any luck getting that scope sighted in correctly. So after mounting the Nikon, I had it boresighted and did the fine tuning at the gun range.

Field testing: In its first test it performed like a champ, my hunting buddy had the only shot on a group of hogs, with one shot he got 2 hogs. Then it was my turn, I placed the crosshairs on a Russian Boar, dropped him lock a rock. Or as my buddy said, you dusted his a$$.

I know that it is early on in use of this setup, but so far this scope along with the 270 150gr is performing great.

I recently purchased a pair of Nikon 10-22 x 50 Binoculars. After the first field test, I have to say that I am slightly disappointed. After adjusting the sight to best suit me on 10 power, I could see clearly and detail on the horns(velvet). When I would adjust to 22 power, the view was blurry and distorted. Everything that I tried wouldnt work to get a clear view.

Does anyone have any experience with these binoculars? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
