Great feel'n
Posted On 11/10/2012 07:27:20

Just sit'n back, thankful to God I have three deer in the freezer for winter and gun season isn't even here yet. Got this new Scorpyd crossbow and man is it accurate. Three shots at deer and three deer in freezer. This thing is deadly accurate . I shot my first deer at 20 yards, no big deal, right? Deer number two was at 57 yards, okay a little more impressive. Deer number 3 was at 62 yards. WOW . No jumping the string. Two heart shots both went about 80 yards and one double lung that went about 100 yards. This is beginning to look good for my Scorpyd , in fact I might have to sell my TenPoint

About me
Posted On 03/02/2012 11:36:57

I am an avid deer hunter. Born and raised in the same homeplace for 59 years. I am happily married to my college sweetheart (39 in 2012). She wants her own gun, but the world isn't ready for that quite yet. I also inspect homes for buyers and sellers, or for that matter anyone who wants their home inspected in Central Illinois. I started this business 5 years ago because retirement wasn't for me. I have a website for my business Cutting Edge Inspections that is where my online name comes from C E Inspect.

Maybe its time

I'm thinking, it just might be time to go looking for sheds and shrooms. May be a little early, but the weather has been great along with some timely rain.

Big rack buck 2/23

I saw 6 does and a big rack buck about 1/4 mile in front of me crossing the road. Now that will give me incentive to plan for next seasons hunt. I sure would have thought by now all racks in our area would have shed. That sure was a welcome sight cause of the season being over til Oct. 1.
